Aamir Khan Might Play Hanuman the Superhero
After Hrithik Roshan (in Krissh), Abhishek Bachchan (in Drona) and Shahrukh Khan (in forthcoming ‘Ra. 1’ which will see SRK as the desi spiderman), it might now be the turn of Mr. perfectionist Aamir Khan to play Hanuman, a modern day super-hero.
Producer Uru Patel has choosen Aamir Khan to play Hanuman, not as a God but as a superhero. The movie will have the characters of Rama and Ravan played by Hollywood stars Keanu Reeves and Gary Oldman. Shilpa Shetty had originally been chosen for the role of Sita but she opted out later and now the makers are on a lookout for a new international face to play Sita.
However, Aamir has not yet given his nod. His approval will be based on the script and also on his condition that he will sign every page of the script to ensure no changes happen during shooting. Only then will he agree to play Hanuman.
The film will be directed by Chuck Russell (of Eraser, The Mask, The Scorpion King, Mandrake fame). If Aamir signs the project, the first schedule of Hanuman is expected to be held in Rajasthan at the end of the year. The rest of the film will be shot at Hollywood studios.
