Aamir Reveals his New Look for “3 Idiots”
Bollywood actors Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi revealed their latest look for their upcoming movie ‘3 Idiots’ in Mumbai.
The movie 3 Idiots is inspired by Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘Five Point Someone’.
Rajkumar Hirani directed the movie which is based on the story of three friends, who get average grades at IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) because of their other interest, love life, friendship and career choices.
During the presentation of the first look of the film, Aamir talked about 3 Idiots and said it’s a story about individuals who are considered as idiots but ultimately they make a mark with their ideas and change the thinking of the society.
Aamir who is considered as very serious actor said, “There are many people like this in history. When we see them initially, we feel amused, but later on we realize that they are doing the right thing. So, the tag line of the film is ‘Don’t be stupid, be an idiot’. Stupid is someone who is ‘bewakoof’ (unintelligent), but being an idiot is a good thing and not wrong. People would realize this if not today, but surely in the future,”
Aamir has successfully played the role of a college boy in some his earlier films. He is playing the character of a confused guy, Rancho and R. Madhvan is playing character of Farhan Qureshi, who willingly chooses to be an idiot. Sharman Joshi is also sharing screen with them as the third friend. All the actors of the film had work together in the film ‘Rang De Basanti’. So all of them share good rapport with each other
The movie will release on Christmas.
