Amitabh Bachchan Gets “GQ” Award
Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan got life time achievement award at Gentleman’s Quarterly Award function. The actor was among 16 personalities who got awards from different fields.
The superstar said, “Rewards and awards are great tools for celebration of excellence in the eyes of the other. In our eyes, though we know our true worth and what needs to be done to be worthy of the recognition that comes our way.”
Beside him, Minister of State for External Affairs, Mr. Shashi Tharoor was honored with “The Inspiration of the Year” award. Omar Abdullah received award for the young leader category. Mahesh Bhupathi got an award for the “Year’s Best Sports Man”.
Other winners were Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol and Irfan Khan.
