Amitabh Bachchan to Host Bigg Boss 3
Endemol, which produces the show “Big Boss” has announced that bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will host the third season of “Bigg Boss”.
Amitabh Bachchan will take over as host from Shilpa Shetty, who hosted the reality show last season.
“Bigg Boss”, an Indian version of the popular British reality show “Big Brother”, will have celebrity contestants locked into a house under the surveillance of multiple cameras for a period of three months without any contact with the outside world.
Amitabh Bachchan said “How contestants behave will be a reflection of our everyday behaviour. I will talk about their behaviour every Friday. Otherwise, the show format is the same”.
Reacting to the news Shilpa Shetty said “I am happy it’s Mr Bachchan who has replaced me. He is an icon, and what can be more flattering than that? I will anyway be shooting in London”.
The show is expected to go on air around December.
