‘AVATAR’ is the Most Expensive Movie till Date
The Oscar winner director James Cameron is all set to break the records of making big budget films with his upcoming film ‘AVATAR’. The budget of the film is said to be 1200 crores (USD 230 MILLION approx).
James Cameron who has been earlier appreciated for his epic drama ‘Titanic’ with academy award for best director, is now bringing ‘Avatar’ a Sci-Fi thriller and an action -adventure of battle between humans and the creatures of other planet Pandora. The movie is produced by Hollywood’s one of the biggest studio Twentieth Century Fox.
James is directing the film after a long gap of 12 years. His last directorial venture was ‘Titanic’. Other than big budget factor the movie is also highlighted due to its photography which is done with digital 3-D camera developed by James and Vince Pace.
The movie has already become a worldwide sensation according to the CEO of Fox Star Studio India, Mr. Vijay Singh, “There is an incredible buzz building up for Avatar across the India media, our theatrical partners and the core audiences. The dramatic increase in the no. of 3D screens, as well as the strong interest that we are getting from the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu language markets reaffirms the strong buzz for the film.”
So we can expect same extraordinary work from James Cameron as in THE TEMINATOR, THE ABYSS and TITANIC. The main cast of the movie includes Zoë Saldana (The Terminal) and Sam Worthington (Hart’s War, Rouge).
‘AVATAR’ will release on Dec 18 in all theaters worldwide.

You will practically not notice that you are watching a non-existing world, it is sooo real. Attention to detail is superb. You computer geeks will know what I am talking about. This move was not rushed in the making. No wonder it could not have been done before – not having the proper computing power.
