Movie LSD will Offer Unforeseen Nude Scenes

According to the latest Bollywood news, upcoming movie LSD (Love Sex aur Dhokha) will showcase the steamy nude scenes that Indian audiences have never seen before.

The controversial scene was shot with an approximate of 4 people in the room while the cameras were rolling.

According to an inside source, “The script required the scene to be shot with full frontal. It took a lot of courage for both the actors to do it. LSD does not aim to shock audiences but does aim at mirroring reality.”

It is this reality factor which is said to be the USP of LSD. The film is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Priya Sreedharan.

The film which is shot with a hidden camera playing a character by itself, LSD features a bunch of newcomers with no mainstream background. Also, sex and voyeurism form a major driving force of the narrative of this film which is ready to release on 19th March.

The movie talks about how voyeurism is indeed a reality in today’s society. The source says, “The content and scenes in the film will be slightly difficult for audiences to digest but once they know the thought behind it, they will realize it’s the cold hard truth. After all somebody needs to inform audiences and question the decisions they take in day to day life.”

The identity of the actors of the film is kept under cover due to the provocative nature and content of the film. The gossips about the film has already got mouths talking but if there is one thing the team is tight lipped about, it’s the actors and the story of their discovery.

A source from Balaji reveals, “Ekta and Dibaker went on a nation wide hunt for these actors after the script was in place. Since the film mirrors reality, having known faces would not have done justice to the story.” This is the reason why the makers have adopted a marketing strategy of not going out with the LSD’s actors’ identities since it would only increase the audience’s curiosity.

Adds the source, “LSD has been in the news for its offensive lyrics, controversial subject, cuss words used in the film and never seen before nude scenes. Not revealing the actors starring in the film will only further pique audience curiosity about the film.”

Priyanka Chopra Banned from Using Twitter

According to the latest Bollywood gossip, former miss world and actress Priyanka Chopra has been banned from using Twitter. Her Twitter obsession has been curbed by none other then Sajid Nadiadwala who is the producer of her upcoming movie.

Sajid has banned the actress from posting any kind of information on the social networking site. While most filmmakers are still looking for ways to approach their actors on the issue, Nadiadwala has taken strict steps to assure that no member of the cast or the crew will leak any kind of details about his project ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ on any networking site.

Nadiadwala took this strict decision because he saw a constant inflow of pictures and information being put up on the social site. Both lead actors of his movie Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor are the active users of the site so, Sajid had no choice but to impose his decision.

Talking to a daily, Sajid confirmed the news and said, “I actually took the decision to forbid my cast and crew from putting any information on websites after an incident that happened with Sajid Khan, my director of ‘Housefull’. We were doing a photo-session with the film’s stars. We weren’t even finished and Sajid Khan had already put one of the pictures on the site. I was horrified. That’s when I decided it was time to make the confidentiality clause a legal issue in all my contracts.”

Regretting the lack of privacy among stars, Sajid further added, “I remember when my father produced JP Dutta’s Ghulami, we’d stand outside Dharmendra’s van for hours waiting for him to emerge so we could see what he wore, how he styled his hair, what watch he had on, etc. Today the stars volunteer all this information on the social networks even before the director takes his first shot. I think all of us need to make confidentiality compulsory for every film.”

Though it is a very hard decision but looks like Piggy Chops have to follow her producer’s wish. After all professionalism matters most.

“I’m a Big Fan of Shah Rukh”: Akon

Famous R and B singer Akon, who is in Mumbai to record songs for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film “Ra.One”, says he is a big fan of the Bollywood’s superstar.

According to the latest Bollywood news, Akon said, “I am a big fan of Shah Rukh. I am very familiar with Shah Rukh’s work. I am meeting Kareena (Kapoor) for the first time today,”

Talking to the reporters in an event, Akon said, “I am also composing (along with singing in “Ra.one”). You know, I will give him (Shah Rukh) a couple of versions of the song, the way I do it. And I will also integrate it with the traditional way the Bollywood films are done. I will give them options and they will decide, which one to use in the film.”

Produced by Shah Rukh’s own production house, “Red Chilies Entertainment”, “Ra.One” will feature Shah Rukh as a superhero.

When reporters asked the singer that if he is willing to do more work with Indian music directors, Akon said, “You will see me doing more things in India soon.”

Talking about African and Indian tradition and entertainment culture the singer said, “You know the tradition in Africa is not different from India. There is same type of entertainment going on, the difference is only in language. I always wanted to expand my horizon, explore and enjoy.”

Akon who will soon go on a world tour is looking forward to his performances in India. He said, “The world tour is coming soon and India is one of my biggest market so I will do number of shows here.”

The singer is also fond of Indian actress Kareena Kapoor. He dedicated two lines from his song “Beautiful” to Kareena, who was present at the event. She is playing the female lead role in “Ra.One”.

John Abraham and Arjun Rampal to Star in Hollywood’s American Empire

According to the latest buzz, three-four Bollywood actors will star in famous Hollywood production American Empire.

According to the latest Bollywood gossip, Bollywood hunk John Abraham, Ashmit Patel, Slumdog Millionaire fame Freida Pinto and recently National award (Supporting actor) winner Arjun Rampal will be seen in the Hollywood flick.

The movie will be directed by Andy Armstrong (Planet of the Apes) and produced by Edge Filmworks. Written by Kevin D. Ward the movie is set to be released on February 3rd 2011. The other cast of the film will include Nina Dobrev (Merry Madagascar), MTV nominated Shannyn Sossamon (A Knight’s Tale), and Leslie Mann (Knocked Up).

According to the reports, the movie is a dark comedy which revolves around underworld, politics, crime, and stealing. The filming locations of the movie are Tampa and Ybor City, both in Florida (USA). The tagline of the movie is “Betrayal is a contact sport….”

Indo-American statesman Rajan Zed has welcomed this teaming-up of Hollywood and Bollywood and hopes that these collaborations would become more commonplace in the future.

55th Filmfare Awards Announced

55TH Filmfare Awards ceremony was organized on last Saturday night in Mumbai. The star studded award function was once again hosted by two of the awesome Khans, Shah Rukh and Saif. Both made the night much hilarious and entertaining than last year.

The glittering award function was unforgettable for Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra as their film “3 Idots” bagged maximum and main awards in Best Film, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, Best Story, Best Dialogue and Best Screenplay category.

Film “Paa” captured both Best Actor in Leading Role categories of male and female as Big B and Vidya Balan were declared winners.

In Filmfare critic award categories, director turned actress Nandita Das’ film “Firaaq” was declared as Best Film. Mahi Gill for “Dev D” and Ranbir Kapoor for “Wake Up Sid” got best actors in female and male categories. Whereas Ayan Mukherjee and Zoya Akhtar got Best Debutante Director male and female for their movies “Wake Up Sid” and “Luck By Chance” respectively.

In music categories, A R Rahman won Best Music award for movie Delhi 6. Rekha Bharadwaj for Genda Phool (Delhi 6) and Kavita Seth for Iktara (Wake Up Sid) both shared Best Playback Singer (Female) trophy. Mohit Chauhan got Best Playback Singer (male) award for movie “Delhi 6”.

Though Vishal Bharadwaj’s “Kaminey” dominated the nominations in various categories but the movie got only one award for Best Visual Effects.

As usual the awards function was great but according to many people Filmfare neglected many great and new talents. But, altogether audiences enjoyed stunning performances from hot and sizzling actresses and actors, especially from Shahid Kapoor, who paid a tribute to the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson through his amazing dance performance.

Angry Aishwarya Denies to Perform in Award Function

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not in a mood to forgive the newspaper which published wrong reports about her pregnancy and illness.

According to the latest Bollywood news, in a recent award function, Bachchan Bahu denied to perform, when she came to know that the award function is linked with the same newspaper that has published false reports about her pregnancy.

Though the organizers of the function offered a huge amount of 85 lakhs to former Miss World but she kicked away the money.

Even after much effort, the organizers received negative response from Bachchan Bahu. She stated that “Main nahi nachhongi no matter how strong the lure of lucre.”

Ash did not turn up for the event and she also wants apology from the newspaper. But they have not yet responded.

Earlier Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan also criticized the media for publishing such a derogatory report about the woman of their house.

RGV Challenges Public to Watch his Horror Movie Alone in Theatre

Famous Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has challenged the public to watch his upcoming horror film “Phoonk 2” alone in a theatre. He has also promised a cash prize to the person who dares to see his movie completely (watching his boring movie it looks impossible).

Varma offered this challenge while promoting his film in Mumbai. He said he would award five lakh rupees to that person who would be able to finish watching the film all by himself or herself.

RGV’s movie “Phoonk 2” is a film about an evil spirit who ruins the peace of a family that has shifted to a new town.

Earlier Varma had issued the same challenge before the release of ”Phoonk” in 2008, but the person who took on the challenge was unable to watch the film for even 30 minutes, and exited the theatre.

RGV said, “When a person says that he doesn’t gets scared, it is like you are challenging the film to scare you. So in the wake of this, we had put a contest in “Phoonk” that if a person can sit alone in the theatre and watch the film without getting scared and completes it, he will be rewarded a certain amount of money as prize. Now after a certain selection process, a particular guy was chosen and within 30 minutes he ran out of the theatre and obviously did not get the prize money.”

According to RGV some people thought that first challenge was rigged. That is why this time he has come up with a scientific evaluation for his new film’s fright quotient, and has declared that a machine would be installed to monitor the pulse rate and heartbeat of the person who watches the film alone.

He said, “The new contest that we have drawn up now is that a person who challenges that the movie cannot scare him, he is going to be put in a theatre and we are going to attach him with an Electrocardiography machine.”

The readings of the machine would be shown live on a screen outside the theatre to both the media and the crew of the film. And it will also be watched by a night camera that viewer does not close his eyes while watching the film

Directed by Milind Gadagkar, ”Phoonk 2” is a sequel of ”Phoonk” which is a supernatural thriller. Varma has said that ”Phoonk 2” is much scarier than the first movie.

Shahid- Kareena: ‘Jab We Met Again’

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan organized a celebration for his movie My Name Is Khan in his bungalow, Mannat. There were many Bollywood celebrities including ex-lover Kareena-Shahid.

Usually Shahid and Kareena maintain distance. But surprisingly when Director Karan Johar made them talk to each other, the ex-couple started talking very easily.

According to a source, “Shahid and Kareena came face to face and everyone thought they would simply ignore each other like they have on so many occasions in the past. But this time, Karan happened to be present right there and instead of marching past each other, they slowed down for a bit. And the rest, as they say, is history.”

After long gap Shahid and Kareena talked very nicely and didn’t show any awkwardness. Later when Kareena’s present lover Saif Ali Khan entered in the party, he too unexpectedly joined them. It’s like a breaking of ice among three of them.

Another source told, “Shahid and Kareena have finally decided to leave their acrimonious past behind them. This was very evident in the manner all three of them – Shahid, Kareena and Saif – interacted with each other at Shah Rukh’s party”

Kareena Kapoor Becomes Author

Yes, it’s true that Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor is going to be an author. She has claimed that she is on her way to become co-writer of a book on nutrition.

Kareena Kapoor was present on the first anniversary of Rujuta Diwekar’s book on fitness ‘Don’t lose your mind, loose your weight’ in Mumbai on Sunday (February 21).

The Kapoor girl, who has contributed to some portions of the book, told reporters, “What makes me really proud and happy is that a book that Rujuta has written on fitness is actually been the number one bestseller. I am really happy with it and glad that people enjoyed my foreword, because I did write, and she is writing another book as well in which I am going to be writing, as well. So I am actually excited that I am actually going to become a writer now from an actor.”

Kareena, who once weighed 68 kilos, has now become a fitness freak. From past two years she has been following a nutrition regime by Rujuta Diwekar. She is so much involve in keeping her body fit that it has become her hobby and now she is all set to become an author.
