Kareena Kapoor Becomes Author

Yes, it’s true that Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor is going to be an author. She has claimed that she is on her way to become co-writer of a book on nutrition.

Kareena Kapoor was present on the first anniversary of Rujuta Diwekar’s book on fitness ‘Don’t lose your mind, loose your weight’ in Mumbai on Sunday (February 21).

The Kapoor girl, who has contributed to some portions of the book, told reporters, “What makes me really proud and happy is that a book that Rujuta has written on fitness is actually been the number one bestseller. I am really happy with it and glad that people enjoyed my foreword, because I did write, and she is writing another book as well in which I am going to be writing, as well. So I am actually excited that I am actually going to become a writer now from an actor.”

Kareena, who once weighed 68 kilos, has now become a fitness freak. From past two years she has been following a nutrition regime by Rujuta Diwekar. She is so much involve in keeping her body fit that it has become her hobby and now she is all set to become an author.

Kareena-Katrina Rivalry Unveiled

You must have seen Kareena and Katrina always saying sweet things for each other but now their rivalry has been unveiled. Both the actresses actually dislike each other and avoid coming together.

Though Katrina always tries to be diplomatic on their rivalry issue but the bold Kareena did not hesitate to express her real feeling for Kat.

At the recent Star Screen Awards function Kareena Kapoor disclosed her dislike for Katrina when organizers asked Kareena to present an award to Katrina. The Kapoor girl however refused to do so by mentioning the reason that Katrina had also refused to give her an award.

So, there was a major ego clash at the award show. Bebo is known for not having grudges against stars unless she has been enticed to do so. So, is Katrina the one at fault or Bebo did that intentionally in public?

Cat Fight Between Kareena and Priyanka for Makeup Artist

Cat fights are very common between actresses and once again it is seen between the two leading ladies of Bollywood Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. The sexy actress Bebo and Piggy Chops are fighting for a makeup artist ‘Pompy’.

Priyanka who was alleged to be the girlfriend of Kareena’s ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor is now looking for Kareena’s makeup artist ‘Pompy’ too.

“Marriage Can Wait” Says Saifeena

B-town’s hot couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor is not in hurry to get married. According to Saif, Kareena has just started to get her dues from the industry. Saif Ali Khan says the most important thing in Kareena is her loyalty towards work. So, he doesn’t think that they should hurry which might affect her career.

On the other side Kareena Kapoor is on the peak these days. She has a lot of pivotal roles in her kitty. According to Kareena, this is the very important phase of her career as she is working with so many good actors, good banners and also with good directors.

Kareena said at the HT Leadership Summit, “We do discuss marriage but this is not the right time because Saif is busy in his production house and I am getting very good roles. So marriage can wait”.

We are so well connected, so close that marriage is just a stamp of validation for the society. I love her for what she is. “Kurbaan” Gets an ‘A’ Certificate for Saifeena’s Lovemaking Scene

“Kurbaan” the film has been slapped with ‘A’ certificate for its violent content and hardcore erotic scenes between the real life lovers, Saif and Kareena. Reportedly, it is an intense film on terrorism. Having spent huge money on the film, Karan Johar is now looking for all other options to hike his returns from the Saif-Kareena starrer.

Confirming the news a source quoted, “There is a lot of violence as the film is set against the backdrop of terrorism. Taking this into account, the censors felt that a ‘U’ or even a ‘U/A’ certificate would not be advisable.”

Director Rensil D’Silva has presented his case in front of the Censor Board but there is no chance to get U/A certificate. Talking about the film, Regional Officer of the Censor Board, Vinayak Azad said, “After we saw ‘Kurbaan,’ we felt that it was meant for adult viewing only.”

Kareena Kapoor says, My Backless Shot Tells Lot about ‘Kurbaan’ Theme

Kareena Kapoor thinks her backless shot is not implying anything ‘vulgar’ in the poster of ‘Kurbaan’. “Kurbaan” is an intense thriller story based on terrorism. Kareena said, “This shot of me in a backless posture and Saif with a wound on his chest tell so much about the film’s theme”.

She added, “There is love, passion and violence – all combined in here and what better way than to show it through a single still? You too would agree that there is nothing sleazy or vulgar about it. Knowing the sensibilities of Karan Johar (producer) and Rensil D’Silva (director), that’s the least one could have expected”.

Kareena said that after her character Geet in “Jab We Met”, her character Avantika in “Kurbaan” will make people sit up and notice.

She said, “The girl’s role has a lot of edge in `Kurbaan`, something which starts becoming more and more visible as the film unfolds. In any case the film is not one of those clichéd love stories. Every character has quite a few layers to it and Avantika, the character I play, is no exception. She is quite pivotal to ‘Kurbaan’”.

Reportedly, she is essaying a character of a professor, who gets married with her colleague, played by Saif Ali Khan. They move to New York after marriage, but as a series of events unfold she realizes herself into a trap of danger and intrigue. She further finds herself in a pawn of a huge game and could be trusted.

The actress said, “What made this role special is the fact that I play this young beautiful professor who is quite normal. She reacts to terrorism for the first time and life is never the same again for her. Actually if you ask me, then technically ‘Kurbaan’ is the story of this girl. She is the light of the screen. I am sure people will cry with Avantika…so strong is her characterization”.

After “Jab We Met”, none of the Kareena’s film did well at Box Office, except multi starrer “Golmaal Returns”. But Kareena is very happy as she is portraying different shades of character in her films.

She concluded, “‘Kurbaan’ has a deep-rooted love story to it, but it is not a frothy romantic film that we are time and again exposed to. The love story is much deeper here. There is a definite meaning, purpose and reason to it. Also, the film is quite powerful in its own way since it’s the voice of moderate Islam”.

The film also stars Vivek Oberoi, Om Puri, Kirron Kher and Dia Mirza and is releasing on Nov 20.

Kareena’s House Robbed by Her Servants

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor and her family lodged a complaint against servants for stealing goods worth Rs 2.55 lakh from her suburban Khar Road residence in Mumbai.

Police has arrested three accused – Anita Kamaldas Osami (35), Tina Shankar Yadav (26) and Pawan Singh Chouhan (24) in the case of robbery. Police said that on 5 October they stole Rs 2.14 lakh cash, a gold ring worth Rs 25,000 and a pearl set worth Rs 16,000 from the house.

All three accused have confessed the crime fearing the legal action.

Police said that the main accused was Anita who stole the money and Tina and Pawan Singh helped her in return to have share in the stolen money.

Police said that Anita saw Kareena’s secretary Jahid Khan keeping a bag containing Rs. 2.14 lakh in cupboard, and decided to steal it.

Jahid Khan informed Kareena’s mother Babita about keeping the money in copboard but on October 8 Kareena found the bag missing. Kareena asked about missing bag to all the house help but no one answered. Than she and her family lodged complain, after police’s interference all three admitted the crime.

The court has sent them in custody till October 19.

Kareena Wants to Change Her Glamour Image

Kareena Kapoor is all set to change her glam doll image for upcoming Hindi version of movie ‘Stepmom’. Kajol will be sharing the screen with her so she is attending workshop with movie director Siddharth Malhotra.

Kareena told reporters that The last time I rehearsed for a part was for Vishal Bhardwaj`s `Omkara`. But that was a more unconventional film and role where I had to get into a milieu and character I knew nothing about. But `Stepmom` is urban and very contemporary. I play a very normal metro-centric working girl,”

She told that movie is inspired by ‘Stepmom’ and she will play the character played by Julia Roberts.

Chris Colmbus’s hit movie ‘Stepmom’ is a emotional tale of two divorced women, Sussan Saradon and other women Julia Roberts in her ex- husband’s life and troubles of giving and taking responsibilities of family.

Talking about Kajol, Kareena said: “She`s always been one of my favorite actresses. We worked together in `Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham`. But this is something else.”

Kareena is fully aware of Kajol’s potiental so she is preparing herself by attending workshop in the midst of her tight schedule of another important movie, Amir Khan’s ‘3 Idots’.

Kareena is playing an ordinary working woman in the movie so not only Kareena but designer Manish Malhotra too have to work hard on looks as she told reporters that “I walk, talk, dress like an ordinary working girl. I`ll be using no makeup.”

Such a big sacrifice! Without makeup! Let’s see how she looks in the movie…

Kareena to Celebrate Birthday With Aamir and Not Saif

Once again Bebo ditches Saif for Aamir. Don’t misunderstand the exact situation! Actually, like last year this year also Kareena Kapoor will be shooting for “3- idiots” with Aamir Khan on her birthday. As far as the report is concerned, Aamir took a break for tragic miscarriage of his wife Kiran. Raj Kumar Hirani insisted to complete the film as early as possible. The production house wants to release the film on 25th December this year.

So, Kareena have to take this decision for prior commitment. She has quite confidence on her boyfriend. Like last year this year also Saif will be present at the set. After all “work comes first” for bebo.
