Basketball Star Kobe Bryant Gifts Ranbir Kapoor His Favorite Sneakers

Kobe Bryant, skipper of Los Angles Lakers who won NBA champion three times, gifted one of his favorite pair of sneakers to Bollywood heart-throb Ranbir Kapoor.

On the recent visit to New York’s Madison Square Garden, Ranbir told reporters, “I heard of stories about Madison Square Garden, but actually being in this place… it was just amazing… I’m still shaking with excitement.”

According to a reporter, the handsome actor met Kobe Bryant after a game against the New York Knicks on 22 January. Bryant gave Ranbir a warm welcome and gifted his sneakers to him.

The famous basketball player from ‘New York Knicks’, Nate Robinson, the 2009 Sprite Slam Dunk contest winner, also gifted Ranbir his autographed jersey.

Ranbir’s experience will be aired on Ten Sports Feb 1 and on Zee Sports Feb 2.

Ranbir Kapoor’s New American Girlfriend

Bollywood’s chocolaty hero, Ranbir Kapoor, is in love with an American girl! Hey! She is not the number next to Deepika Padukone. Actually, Ranbir will be seen romancing Cruel Intention 2’s actress Sarah Thompson in Prakash Jha’s “Rajneeti”. In the film Ranbir will be portraying a character of a politician.

According to the script, the duo meets in an American University and fall in love. Ranbir has to return India to pursue his family’s tradition of politics, but she follows him all the way to India. Sarah has played South African captain Hansie Cronje’s wife in the biopic “Hansie” in 2008.

Prakash Jha said, “We auditioned nearly 30 girls before we selected Sarah. She was right for the part. It’s a substantial role and we needed an actress who could act and would look compatible with Ranbir.”

Reportedly, Ranbir and Sarah are looking great together. The entire unit is talking about their chemistry. Well, Ranbir is a magician and his charm attracts everybody. He has the ability to create a strong chemistry with all of his co-stars. From Konkona to Bipasha, and from Deepika to Katrina, he has gelled with all the actresses. We think this talent is god-gifted.

Ranbir’s “Rocket Singh” Fails to Please Audience

Bollywood’s blue eyed boy, Ranbir Kapoor has failed to attract enough audience for his new film “Rocket Singh- Sales Man of the Year”. The movie had a very high expectation as it is directed by Shimit Amin and written by Jaideep Sahani. The film can be considered as the comeback of the director/writer duo after “Chak De! India”. “Chak De” is a rare example of a successful low budget film. The film was not only highly critically acclaimed but also collected sufficient revenues at the box-office.

Reportedly, “Rocket Singh” has been made under the budget of 5 crore. But it could not live up to the expectations. Amit Awasthi, the manager of Spice Cinema, Noida said, “‘Rocket Singh’ has not at all been satisfactory and done very bad business. The occupancy has fallen to 25 percent Monday from an average of just 68 percent over the weekend”. He added, “The content is not being appreciated, as the second half is being called very slow and dull and the climax is being considered to be not at all satisfactory”.

Yogesh Raizada, the Corporate Head of the Wave Cinemas has commented the same thing. He said, “The movie lacks mass appeal – audiences could not associate with it considering its content on sales guys, etc. So, the weekend was only average but not up to expectations.”

He concluded by saying, “The weekend was only close to 70 percent while Monday it has fallen close to 40 percent”.

The film also stars debutant Shazahn Padamsee with famous anchor/actor Gauhar Khan. Though the story revolves around the life of the salesman, but these leading ladies also have pivotal roles in the films.

Joginder Mahajan, a Delhi based distributor said, “The film has been a disappointment for the industry”.

All we can say is, Ranbir has missed the opportunity to score a hatrick.

Ranbir Kapoor’s New Girlfriend Shazahn

After his break up with Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor seems to have found new love in his co actress of Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year, Shazahn Padamsee.

The 21 year innocent looking girl Shazahn is not new to film industry. Daughter of famous singer Sharon Prabhakar and theater personality Alyque Padamsee, Shazahn had done many commercials.

Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year, is Shazahn’s debut movie. As a teenage she always wanted to be an actress and now Shazahn is playing the role opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

According to the latest buzz Ranbir and Shazahn shared nice chemistry on the sets of ‘Rocket Singh’ and there are many possibilities that the Kapoor lad may fall for the beautiful Shazahn!

Ranbir Kapoor Voted ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

This year is going really good for B-Towns blue eyed boy Ranbir Kapoor. The Kapoor lad has already listed himself among the five highest paid actors. Reportedly, he is just standing behind Akshay Kumar. The latest buzz is that this handsome and sexy actor has been voted ‘sexiest man alive’ by the ‘People’ magazine this year.

Earlier Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham were voted as “sexiest man alive” by the magazine. But the actor says that he does not consider himself sexy. The 27 year old actor said that there are ‘a thousand things’ wrong in his face and body.

The actor said, “I really don’t know what sexy is. I am confused as I don’t consider myself sexy. There are a thousand things that are wrong with my face and body”. Reportedly, Ranbir will be appearing as a shirt less hunk on a beach for the cover page. He said that he believes in an old saying, “handsome is what handsome does”.

The actor concluded as saying, “When I was growing up, my mom told me handsome is what handsome does. So Amitabh Bachchan is sexy to me in all his films, Shah Rukh is sexy in DDLJ and Aamir is sexy in Rang De Basanti”.

Ranbir wants to reunite with Deepika!

The cute boy of Bollywood industry Ranbir Kapoor now desperately wants her ex girlfriend Deepika back. The latest Bollywood news has it that Deepika Padukone has recently found someone special in her life and this is something making this Kapoor boy insecure.

The split between Ranbir and Deepika recently came out but neither of them discloses the cause of their split. Though, the allegations said that the split was caused because Ranbir was not ready for total commitment.

The couple’s relation lasted for two years and friend and family members were expecting that both Ranbir and Dips would tie knot one day. But breaking all expectations, both separated very silently.

Watching Ranbir and Deepika’s easy and carefree attitude after split, everybody thought that they both would soon find someone else.

Ranbir will be Seen in 8 Looks in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

The owner of Kapoor legacy Ranbir Kapoor is all set to mesmerize the audience with his 8 different and charming looks in ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’.

A source told, “Ranbir has donned eight different looks in the film. He impersonates as the pathanwala, halwaiwala, a corporate officer etc. He has even donned the Charlie Chaplin look in the film.”

Director Raj Kumar Santoshi chose Shyamli as Ranbir’s costume designer in the film. According to a source, “When Shyamli met Santoshi, he clearly told her that he wanted her to make Ranbir’s character appear very real. He did not want anything that would look over the top on screen. Shyamli worked hard on Ranbir’s eight different looks. In fact it has turned out to be exceptionally good on screen,”

All of you must be eager to watch Ranbir’s 8 different looks, but you will have to wait till November 6, the film’s release date.

Ranbir and Deepika’s Relation is in Trouble?

Bollywood’s most romantic real life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s relation is on the verge of split. A report says that the couple have dispute over commitment, which has turned into endless fights and arguments.

Growing differences between the two are now no more personal, it has come out in front of friends and colleagues.

Ranbir’s mother Neetu is said to be the cause of differences between the young lovers. A daily source quoted that “Everyone knows that Neetu never really approved of Deepika for her son even though Ranbir tried and succeeded, to a large extent, to make his mom thaw towards his girl. Dips somewhere felt that her beau wasn’t making a commitment to her, even though she was fully committed to the relationship because he was waiting for mommy’s approval.”

Ranbir is still in dilemma whether to commit or not as he thinks that he is too young to get engaged but Deepika wants full commitment.

Ranbir Used Insecticide Instead of Deodorant

Ranbir Kapoor got stinking underarms when he used insecticide instead of deodorant. While chatting to a crew member he accidentally picked up insecticide can and used it over his under arms.

After some time when he got burning sensation than he realized that he used insecticide .The can of insecticide was kept on his table to keep flies away.
Even in pain and stench Ranbir kept shooting. When agony increased he took a shower and came back for work.

From now Ranbir will definitely be careful while using deodorant!
