Disabled Fan Accuses Salman of Using Her for Publicity

According to the latest Bollywood news, actor Salman Khan is in trouble for using his meeting with a disabled fan for publicity.

The Bombay High Court has issued a notice to Salman on Saturday. Phoolbanoo Bakshi Ilahi has filed a petition seeking damages of Rs 25 lakh after her photograph with the actor appeared in a Mumbai tabloid for his film’s (Veer) publicity. Notices have also been issued to Vijay Galani, Veer’s producer and director, and to the tabloid.

Ilahi said in April 2009, she and her family had visited Salman’s home in Bandra, where the actor also posed with her for a photograph. She said that she was shocked to see that photograph alongside a story titled, ‘Dildar Salman Khan’, in the tabloid. Khan even stated in the story that he had helped Ilahi by giving her Rs1 lakh. “Not a single penny was given to her,” said Ilahi’s cousel.

Salman Khan Gets Bravery Award

Many people know Bollywood star Salman Khan as bad-boy but now he has become good boy. Salman has been awarded with bravery award from Anti-Terrorist front for his efforts to rehabilitate and educate children orphaned in terrorist attacks across the country.

In an arrangement made by All India Anti-Terrorist Front, Salman Khan said he would carry-on the humanitarian endeavor and “secure lives impacted by human disaster”.

The 44 year old star, known for his generosity and charity works, made the announcement at a function that he was felicitated with the Pride of the Nation award at the FICCI Auditorium on Tuesday.

Spreading the message of patriotism, secularism and national integration through his films, including his upcoming film “Veer”, releasing Friday, the actor was honored at the Anti-Terrorist Front Veer Bravery Awards.

The award function was organized by AIATF. Salman received the award from AIATF chairman Maninderjit Singh Bitta.

Talking to the reporters the ‘Wanted’ star said, “It was a very different real-life experience and after witnessing the efforts made by the brave people, I have decided to join hands in the noble endeavor to help the affected children and other family members of the terrorist victims.”

He also said, “It will be a priority for me and Mr. Bitta now to start a rehabilitation program for the orphaned children of the terrorist victims. The arrangement for their education and career will be taken care of by us jointly as part of our humanitarian endeavor and secure lives impacted by human disaster.”

Salman Becomes Jockey to Promote ‘Veer’

The Bollywood hunk Salman Khan is promoting his upcoming period movie “Veer” in his own unique style. Salman became a jockey and participated in race with top class Jockeys to promote the movie. “Veer” is scheduled to release on Friday, 22 January.

Wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and donning a yellow helmet, the 44-year-old actor raced with six jockeys at the Mahalakshmi race course on Sunday. Salman won the race and got the shining trophy.

After the race Salman told reporters, “I was a bit nervous (before the race). If I’d have lost, people would have thought Salman lost the race and if I’d have won then they would have said that he had to win because he is a star.”

He also said, “But I’d like to clarify that it was not a set-up and was a genuine race. I gave my best along with the jockeys and so did they.”

The Movie ‘Veer’ has been produced by Vijay Galani and Sunil A. Lulla. It has been written by Salman, himself.

The movie is also introducing actress Zarine Khan in the lead role. Mithun Chakraborty, Sohail Khan and Jackie Shroff also play important roles in the movie.

Salman’s Birthday Party Exclusively For Men

The Bollywood hunk Salman Khan who is known for his wild parties, surprisingly celebrated his 45th birthday very quietly at his Panvel farmhouse. But the most astonishing part of his birthday celebration was that he invited only his ‘close male friends’.

According to sources, Salman who is considered a hardcore wild party animal didn’t throw a lavish party this time as he is still upset after his breakup with Katrina Kaif. Though he wasn’t really in a mood to celebrate his birthday but he did not forget his close friends. He only invited his male friends including music directors Sajid Wajid, his bodyguard Shera, hairstylist Aalim Hakim, his friends Sajid Nadiadwala, Vijay Galani and his friend Nadeem. This party was for his friends only. He had celebrated with his family on Saturday night itself.

In the meantime, Katrina is far away from Salman in London and spending time with her family for Christmas and New Year.

Salman Launches Nationwide Hunt for Unsung Heroes

Following the footsteps of his good friend Aamir Khan, Bollywood hunk Salman Khan is launching a nationwide hunt for unsung heroes.

The superstar turned 44 on Sunday, 27 December. To promote his forthcoming period film ‘Veer’, Salman has launched this show. Through the show, Salman wants to connect with the common people and search young men and women who have performed heroic deeds which the nation doesn’t know about.

According to a source, “Lately Salman has been going out of his way to connect with the masses. The idea to launch a contest on his birthday to search for unrecognised heroes came from Aamir Khan’s recent connect-with-masses Bharat Darshan which he undertook as part of the promotion for ‘3 Idiots’.”

The source added, “People close to Salman advised him to find a similar point of connectivity with the common man for Salman’s forthcoming film ‘Veer’. And what better occasion to show his affinity to the masses than his birthday?”

The producer of movie “Veer” confirmed Salman’s plans to search and celebrate the lives of unsung heroes from all over the country. He told reporters, “You’ve heard correctly. Salman is launching a contest to find real-life unsung heroes. Since he has played the hero so often on screen, he feels real-life heroes deserve to be brought out of anonymity. We’ll be going to the remotest corners of India to select these unknown heroes. Finally one of them will be given the ‘Veer’ cup personally by Salman at a function in Mumbai.”

Salman is launching the show as his movie “Veer” is also about the bravery and courage of a Pindari soldiers who fight for Independence. The movie has been directed by Anil Sharma, along with Salman newcomer Zarine Khan is the main cast of the movie.

Former Miss UK, Lisa Lazarus, is also playing an important role. The other cast of the movie includes Mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff, Sohail Khan and Bharat Dabholkar.

Salman Khan Slapped By a Girl

Surprisingly it’s true that the film industry bad boy Salman Khan was slapped by a girl. The shocking incident took place in Delhi when Salman was partying with his family, friends and some high profile people.

According to the reports, after Sanjana Jon’s fashion show, a private party was going on in Delhi’s five star hotel. The so called rich builder’s young spoiled daughter, Monica, who was intoxicated, suddenly stormed into the party and started abusing the party guests Sohail Khan and Sushmita Sen.

According to the sources, “Meanwhile, Salman heard the commotion and walked to where Monika was making a fuss. She was misbehaving and started bragging about her connections and abused Sushmita Sen. When Salman very politely asked the girl to leave, she suddenly slapped the actor.”

Unlike his nature Salman did not retaliate and calmly asked the security guards to take the girl out of the party.

Now this news has surprised everyone because the notorious Salman who remains in the news for his furious nature stayed calm after such provoking incident.

Salman Turns Down Ravi Chopra’s Films

Salman Khan, who is famous among his friends for his helping nature, has disappointed one of his oldest friends Ravi Chopra.

Earlier Salman did cameo in two of Ravi Chopra’s film Baghban and Baabul. But when Ravi once again approached him for his two forthcoming films, Salman turned down his proposal.

According to the sources, “Chopra has been finding it very difficult to lock in the star cast for two of his upcoming films. One is Kohinoor, to be directed by his son Abhay and the other Pocket-Maar, which he plans to direct himself. The first film was offered to Salman but he didn’t like the story and refused it straight up.”

Sources also told that, “Ravi then went to Khan with his second project and was confident that Sallu wouldn’t refuse him given their past association. But the actor once again turned him down citing date problems. Ravi was shocked as the actor had taken time out for Ravi’s earlier films even though he had been busy. In the past, Salman not only acted in his films, but also refused to charge him a single penny.”

The super star said no to the films because both the films were earlier rejected by other actors like Neil Nitin Mukesh and Shahid Kapoor. So, obviously why would big star like Salman say yes to Ravi Chopra.

Salman Says He Has No Problem with Shah Rukh Khan

Surprised to read this! Yes Bollywood hunk Salman Khan in a show said that there is no rivalry between him and super star Shah Rukh Khan. He also said that media creates such rumors but now he is bored of such gossip.

Salman, who was present in a show ‘Being Human’ at HDIL India Couture Week told reporters that,” There is no war between us. It is the media who creates all this misunderstanding,”

Adding on the topic he said “You will ask me some question about him here and then you will ask him the same question regarding me somewhere else – then you clip them together and run it continuously on TV screens for days creating unnecessary hype and misunderstanding,”

Salman, who was looking in good mood, said he is now tired of all these rumors. He also added “I would request you to show respect to him and me as well. I am tired of all this. Aren’t you people bored too?”

It seems that the show ‘Being Human’ has had a great impact on Salman that is why he is ready to forget the past.
