Shahid- Kareena: ‘Jab We Met Again’

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan organized a celebration for his movie My Name Is Khan in his bungalow, Mannat. There were many Bollywood celebrities including ex-lover Kareena-Shahid.

Usually Shahid and Kareena maintain distance. But surprisingly when Director Karan Johar made them talk to each other, the ex-couple started talking very easily.

According to a source, “Shahid and Kareena came face to face and everyone thought they would simply ignore each other like they have on so many occasions in the past. But this time, Karan happened to be present right there and instead of marching past each other, they slowed down for a bit. And the rest, as they say, is history.”

After long gap Shahid and Kareena talked very nicely and didn’t show any awkwardness. Later when Kareena’s present lover Saif Ali Khan entered in the party, he too unexpectedly joined them. It’s like a breaking of ice among three of them.

Another source told, “Shahid and Kareena have finally decided to leave their acrimonious past behind them. This was very evident in the manner all three of them – Shahid, Kareena and Saif – interacted with each other at Shah Rukh’s party”

“I Like Priyanka” Says Shahid

Bolly town’s new star Shahid Kapoor is on the cloud nine these days. Finally he admits his liking for Priyanka Chopra in front of the media. Reportedly the star is very busy promoting his forthcoming flick “Chance Pe Dance”. Shahid was in Delhi yesterday to promote Ken Ghosh’s next. Shahid, who is known for his admirable diplomacy handled all the questions very tactfully.

Shahid said on Priyanka, “Priyanka is a wonderful co-star. It has always been fun working with her. I think woh mujhe pasand toh karti hain. Main bhi unhe pasand karta hoon”. Then very strategically he added, “I also like Genelia and Ken Ghosh. Yeh bhi bahut kaminey hain”.

Shahid looked very cool and very clear while answering all the question s. When he was asked about his ex-girlfriend Kareena, he said, “We have attended the same awards functions, but unfortunately never been able to meet. Mann mein toh roz hi unke liye dua karta hoon”. The line simply depicts his forgiveness to his ex-love. Shahid is a man of positive thinking.

Shahid showered praise on his Chance Pe Dance co-star Genelia. “Genelia is one of my most favorite co-actors. I have had such a wonderful time. She has come onto this film like a breath of fresh air”. Reportedly, Shahid will be seen flashing his eight pack abs in the film. He said, “The character was that of a very good dancer, so he had to have a body that matched”.

Shahid, Genelia Spend a Night Together in a Car

Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D’Souza have spent an entire night together in a car. Don’t get so much excited! The idea of spending a night together was a part of promoting their forthcoming film “Chance Pe Dance”. Reportedly, they have spent Wednesday night together at the Kamalistan Studios. There were ‘vada pao’ (bun) vendors and ‘khatiyas’ (string cot) nearby for the people. We must say that this is one of the most unique promotion style applied by director Ken Ghosh. It hasn’t been done before in the history of Bollywood.

In the film, Shahid plays a character of a struggler who comes to Mumbai to make an entry in Hindi films. According to the source, the idea was planned as it bears resemblance with the strugglers who come to Mumbai and try their luck in films. A source revealed that a scene in the movie depicts the authentic situation.

A source added, “This activity has similarities with our movie. In fact in his own days of struggle, Shahid used to sleep in a car many times. In the movie also, there’s a scene where these strugglers have to spend nights altogether, because they have no place to stay”.

The promotion campaign reportedly continued till today morning and those who were present there shared tea and bun maska (bun and butter) with the stars.

Ken Ghosh’s directorial “Chance Pe Dance” is set to release on 15th January 2010.

Shahid Edits His Own Smooching Scene With Genelia

Shahid Kapoor has learned the lesson from his past that kissing in public is not good for him as well as his career. So, he has edited a smooching scene between him and Genelia from their upcoming movie “Chance Pe Dance”.

Though the editing of Shahid –Genelia’s erotic lip-lock scene may reduce some sensation but the filmmaker would surely get some relief from Censor Board’s scissors.

According to the reports Shahid insisted the filmmakers to edit the passionate and sensual scene on moral values. Shahid was worried because he thought that the scene is not suitable for kid and this may also reduce senior audience too. So, he demanded that it should be taken out of the film.

A source confirms the news and said, “Yes, there was a kissing scene in the film along with a love-making scene. However Shahid thought that it wouldn’t be good for his image with the kids. He also felt it would put off people from coming to the cinema hall with their kids, and he did not want that to happen. So he spoke to Ken Ghosh (the director) and insisted the scene be removed from the film. Though Ken wasn’t very keen about the idea since the shot had taken a lot of effort, he finally understood Shahid’s point of view — even Ken loved the idea of the film not having an A certificate. The scene has been removed.”

Director of the movie, Ken Ghosh said, “My film is for teenagers, for children and for families. It’s a wholesome entertainer with humor, emotional moments and lots of fun. It’s got great music and fantastic dancing — and it’s got a U certificate. Need I say more?”

Shahid’s Eight-pack Abs for ‘Chance Pe Dance’

Following the body building trend of Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, the young and dynamic actor Shahid Kapoor has also built a muscular body. But the dashing actor Shahid has moved one step ahead and he has sculpted eight-pack abs for his forthcoming film ‘Chance Pe Dance’.

For this Herculean task Shahid took the help of famous celebrity fitness trainer Abbas Ali. Both Abbas Ali and Shahid have worked hard to achieve the curves in a short span of time.

According to Abbas Ali, “Shahid had to look cosmetically presentable. After ‘Kaminey’ we had only two months in hand to change his complete look. It’s Shahid’s sheer hard work, dedication and consistency that transformed him from what he used to look a couple of years ago to his present look.”

Earlier Shahid was not so serious about having those curves but after ‘Kaminey’ movie’s one scene in which he had to run with horses, he took body building seriously and worked hard on his body.

The cute and chocolaty boy of industry, Shahid wants to change his image. So, he asked Abbas to train him so that his body suits the character in ‘Chance Pe Dance’. Abbas told reporters, “His body in ‘Chance Pe Dance’ is better than all his previous films. Shahid told me that dancers are coming from abroad and he wants to look like god and move like god. I had to change the entire training to bring that look along with flexibility and muscle endurance which was required for his dance performance.”

Though the 28 year old actor had already grown muscles for ‘Kaminey’ but for ‘Chance Pe Dance’ he had to attain those “to die for curves”. So, Shahid worked out rigorously at least five days in a week.

Abbas especially took care of Shahid’s diet during training because, “Shahid is a vegetarian and he doesn’t even takes egg so first class protein, which is required to build lean muscle, was not there. White carbohydrate was removed from his diet, like white potatoes and pasta. We added brown carbohydrate like brown rice, sweet potato, oats instead.”

Discussing about Shahid’s diet Abbas also told reporters, “We didn’t go for low carbohydrates because if you go for low carbohydrates your performance level goes down in real life. He has to dance so we couldn’t go for low carbohydrates.”

In the movie “Chance Pe Dance”, Shahid is playing a role of a struggling actor. Genelia D’Souza is playing Shahid’s love interest in the movie. The movie is directed by Ken Ghosh and set to release on 15 January 2010.

Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao to Appear Naked for PETA

Shahid Kapoor and Amrita are going nude for a shoot for PETA. Reportedly, after “Kaminey” Shahid is all again set to go nude for vegetarian campaign. The actor, with his toned physique will be showing off his manliness for a PETA campaign. Amrita Rao is also joining him for the bold task and going all nude for the campaign.

Reportedly, the duo will rub shoulders with Hollywood chick Pamela Anderson. Pamela is posing in a cabbage bikini. Ex-model Aditi Gowitrikar had posed as covered in leaves and Sherlyn Chopra in racy lingerie for the organization.

Shahid is a vegetarian since the age of 18 and Amrita since last ten years, which suit the couple in the PETA bill. The campaign will bring the once modest and conservative ‘jodi’ of ‘Vivaah’ in an all-nude avatar.

According to sources, the ad will feature the two wearing nothing and wrapped in tomato vines as the look is ‘tomato-and-pepper’. As for the theme of the ad – it’s called ‘Let Vegetarianism Grown on you’.
