Danny Boyle is Tired of Slumdog Stars
Famous director Danny Boyle has ended his discussions with the children, who starred in Slumdog Millionaire. Reportedly, their families are in demand of more cash from the Trust Fund.
According to a source, the director has asked to meet the organizers of “Jai Ho” trust fund. The trust has started to support the child actors like Azharuddin Ismail and Rubina Ali after their starring roles helped the film set box office records worldwide.
Boyle has been asked to provide a car for Ismail’s relatives, while Ali’s family wants a further $48,000 in addition to the $80,000 they have received for an apartment. According to a spokesperson from the charity, these demands has made Boyle fed up and he left India.
A reporter from Scotland said, “He is tired, really tired. The demands are now sky rocketing. Danny is tired, Danny is frustrated at these demands and has left (India) for England. He is very, very upset.”
