Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore Kiss on Marie Claire and Reveal About Whip It!
Looks as if the makers of “Whip It” are not going to leave any stone unturned for the promotion of their upcoming movie. The Charlie’s Angeles star and the Juno star are seen Straddling, Kissing and Hugging in the October edition of Marie Claire magazine.
“Whip It” is Drew Barrymore’s directorial, it tells the story of misfit Bliss (played by Ellen), a rebel in a small Texas town whose mother wants her to be a beauty queen but whose heart tells her to be a roller girl. This shoot was done to celebrate “Whip It”. And both the sexy girls hugged and held hands as they talked about the movie.
Drew said very nice things about Ellen and vice versa. Drew seemed to be completely mesmerized by Ellen’s body, but then who wouldn’t? This is what they have to say:
Drew: Ellen has such a beautiful body, and I personally battled with my own body image for years. I used to tell myself, ‘You can’t wear anything sleeveless or strapless.’ And all of a sudden I was like, What if I just didn’t send such negative messages to my brain and said, wear it and enjoy it? And now I’m more comfortable in clothes than ever.
Ellen: That openness. It’s so sexy.
Drew: She was in her frickin’ bra with an open jacket and hot-pink shorts, skating around the rink with red lips and …
Ellen: I was having a really good time.
Drew: … and she was sexy as a mother … a feral creature. It was great.
“Curious. Kind. And the word ethical is coming to me…” Said Drew for Ellen.
“Luminous. Compassionate. Intelligent.” Said Ellen for Drew.
Ellen added, “It was a surreal moment for me… You could just feel her warmth and kindness immediately, and the way she carried herself was just so grounded. “So then it was like: ‘Oh, this is going to be great’. And then it went into: ‘Oh my God, I’m really crazy about this person.’ “It just grew and grew and grew and grew and grew.”
