Film Review of Radio
Cast: Himesh Reshammia, Shenaz Tresurywala, Sonal Sehgal, Zakir Hussain, Rajesh Khattar and Paresh Rawal
Director: Isshan Trivedi
Rating: 2/5

“Radio” is directed by Isshan Trivedi. The film cast includes Himesh Reshammiya, Shenaz Tresurywala, Sonal Sehgal, Zakir Hussain, Rajesh Khattar and Paresh Rawal. The film depicts a triangular love story in a metropolitan city.
The story revolves around the character R J Vivan (played by Himesh). He is guy from a small town and wants to achieve big things in life. He gets married to Pooja Talwar (Sonia Sehgal). But she realizes that they do not share any compatibility. Sonia’s character is very unpredictable in the film.
Vivan solves others problems live on air. But he portrays the most confused character in the film. After his breakup with Pooja, Shanaya Dhingra (Shenaz) comes in his life. Shanaya is die-hurt romantic and starts loving Vivan. But Vivan takes time to understand that they have a good chemistry. But finally he understands and they get married. This is all about the story.
Talking about the performances, Himesh seems to be trying too hard to cement his footing as an actor. He has tried to portray a very serious character very seriously, but his performance is not up to the mark. He needs to sharpen his acting skills. Sonal is a complete blank actress and if she thinks that shedding tears is all about acting, then she is wrong. Shenaz tried to be natural but she must work on her pronunciation. VJ ing and acting are two different things. Paresh Rawal and Rajesh Khattar are good in their respective roles.
Himesh’s films are always a hit musically. This one is not an exception. In this film also Himesh has handled the music according the theme of the film. Music is good; especially “Teri Meri Dosti”, “Janeman” and “Mann ka Radio” are really soothing. But the film is too noisy by the host of odd performances.
