George Clooney The Leatherheads star — who is dating former model Sarah Larson was held at gunpoint during a recent United Nations trip to southern Sudan. The muggers attacked him when he was passing through checkpoints.
"There were all these young kids with AK47s," Clooney, tells British men's magazine Zoo Weekly. "They pointed guns at us and stole what they could. It happens all the time," he said.
The assailants didn't recognize him, he said, joking, "They don't have great TV out there!"
