“Jail” Gets U/A Certification after Chopping Seven Scenes

Jail Movie Madhur Bhandarkar’s forthcoming flick “Jail” has been finally passed by Censor Board with U/A certificate. But the director isn’t happy as the film has been edited with seven cuts.

The chopped seven scenes includes Neil’s nude scene, a homosexual scene, Neil and Mughdha Godse’s love making scene, a sex joke, etc. Even abusive dialogues are no longer part of the film. Reportedly, Madhur is not at all happy with the decision but again he does not want to release the film with ‘A’ certification.

Madhur requested for the Neil’s nude scene but the board has already blurred the scene. According to the Censor Board Authority, those scenes should be chopped for U/A certification. Other wise, the board was quite ok giving the film “A” certificate thinking of the bold theme.

The film director was confident that the film is well researched and very thought provoking which the authorities should love.
