Jay Leno Tops the Ratings on Late Night Show

Jay Leno on His Show According to the latest news, comedian Jay Leno’s show topped the television ratings on his return to late night. Earlier his talk show was used to be aired on prime time on NBC channel but due to falling ratings the show timings were shifted to late night.

But surprisingly, Jay Leno succeeded in catching attention of the viewers even in the late night show. As per latest Nielsen television ratings, Leno’s “The Tonight Show” attracted 6.6 million viewers Monday night. He has easily beaten his main rival David Letterman, who was watched by 3.8 million viewers.

Leno’s ratings were 25 percent above than his last year’s rating. The reason behind Leno’s popularity was the immense advertising of his show during NBC’s hit coverage of the 2010 Olympic Games.
