Johnny Depp to Be the Highest Paid Actor in Hollywood

Dashing Hollywood actor Johnny Depp will reportedly receive the highest amount of income, 33 Million Pound for his next upcoming ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series. It’s the fourth part of pirate movie from Disney Studio.

33 Million Pound is the highest amount which is ever paid to any actor in the history of Hollywood. But Disney Studio’s bosses think they still have gained from the deal. The famous pirate ‘Captain Jack Sparrow’, Johnny Depp had not demanded such a huge amount as fees but he wants the share from gross profits.

Daily Express quoted an executive’s remarks as, “These may seem like astronomical figures but studios can no longer afford such budget-busting agreements.”

He also added, “He commands huge leverage, however, because without him the franchise would be dead and buried.”

The fourth pirate film ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ is scheduled to be released worldwide in 2011 summer.
