Kidman and Cruise’s Adopted Son Makes Them Proud
Connor the adopted son of Tom Cruise and his ex- wife Nicole Kidman has made his parents proud by landing his first big acting break.
Connor, who is 13-years-old, will be playing Will Smith’s son in a new movie based on the trial of demonstrators arrested during the 1968 Democratic National Convention. Smith will play the role of activist Bobby Seale.
Connor is said to have made a big impression at the audition for ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7′, which will be directed by Steven Spielberg, and was hired immediately.
“Tom is thrilled because Connor went through the auditions like all the other children, and seems to have been given the job based on his talent,” a close source said.
“Nicole’s excited too, because Connor has wanted to act for a long time. Now he’s getting his big break,” the source added.
With Smith being a close friend of Cruise, we are not too sure whether Connor was chosen for his acting abilities or because of his star parents.
