Leona Lewis in Tears after the Attack The “Bleeding Love” singer Leona Lewis was attacked at a book signing at London Book Store. A spokes person from London confirmed the news and detailed about the sad incident.

Reportedly, Lewis was signing a copy of her biography “Dreams” when she was suddenly slapped by an assailant. According to the report, “The assailant was arrested for actual bodily harm while the star was taken to the hospital for treatment”.

A rep for Leona said, “Leona was the victim of an unprovoked attack this afternoon at her book signing”. The report continues, “The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona is understandably shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings”.

Her forthcoming album “ Echo” is due to release later this year.
