Leonardo DiCaprio will be back with “Shutter Island”
Shutter Island is an upcoming project and next release of famous actor Leonardo DiCaprio. It is an American horror/thriller directed by Martine Scorsese. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Denise Lehane. Paramount production has slated to release the film early next year.
The film is based on two U.S Marshals who investigate the disappearance of a patient from a hospital for the criminally insane on an island in Massachusetts. They run into trouble when they are deceived by the hospital’s chief administrator, a hurricane hits and an intimate riot traps them on the island. It is going to be a co-production by Columbia and Paramount production. Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martine Scorsese have worked in three films earlier. Mark Rufallo is playing Marshals character along with Leonardo.
Spanish film distributor Manga Films is to distribute the film worldwide. Both film makers and distributors are looking forward to the film as it will be the next release of Leonardo DiCaprio after “Revolutionary Road”, which got n- numbers of awards globally.
