Movie Preview : “Aladin”

AladinEros Entertainment Production’s “Aladin”, is ready to release this Friday. The film has been co- produced by Ramesh Sippy. The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is known that the story of the film is taken from Arabian Nights classic tale “Aladdin”.

The director has presented the film in a contemporary format. The story has remained same but the scenario or the format has been changed by the director. The lead protagonist character has been played by Reteish Deshmukh. And the Genie Genius is played by Amitabh Bachchan.

The story revolves this way, Aladin Chatterjee lives in the city of Khwaish. He is an orphan who has been bullied since childhood by Kasim and his gang. His life changes when he falls in love for Jasmine, and she gives him a magic lamp- because it lets loose the genie Genius.

Genius becomes desperate to grant Aladin 3 wishes and seek the end of his contract with the Magic Lamp. Genius makes Aladin’s life difficult until Aladin gets the real threat from the ex-genie ringmaster played by Sanjay Dutt.

The story reaches the climax, sequencing a fight between Genie and Ringmaster. The film is a dynamic blend of comedy, thrill, adventure and romance. The film has Jacqueline Fernandez, in the role of Aladin’s love interest Jasmine. It is her debut film.

The songs have been written by Anvita Dutt Guptan and the music has been given by Vishal Shekhar.

Aladin is expecting to be a roller costar ride and full of entertainment but the final decision is in the hands of the audience. The fate of the film will be decided this Friday and it is going to clash with Vipul Shah’s “London Dreams”.
