Movie Preview: London Dreams
Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s much awaited film “London Dream” is all set to release this Friday. The film is starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn in lead roles and the film has Asin Thottumkal as the leading lady. Ranvijay, Brinda Parekh and Aditya Roy Kapoor have played very important roles in the film. The famous musician trio of Bollywood, Shankar Ehsaan Loy has given the music in the film. Prasoon Joshi has penned the lyrics.
The film relies on the bond of friendship more than its rock background. The story revolves around two childhood friends Arjun(Ajay Devgan) and Mannu(Salman Khan). Arjun dreams to become a stage performer and wants to perform live in front of huge audience. But, Mannu pays a casual attention towards life.
Arjun creates a fledgling band with Zoheb and Wasim (Rannvijay Singh & Aditya Roy Kapoor respectively). The band also consists of a South Indian girl Priya played by Asin. Arjun eventually invites Mannu to London to complete his band contrary to his own belief that the latter can create competition within the band.
Mannu succeeds because of his originality and unique treatment of the music, where Arun struggles to captivate attention. Arjun starts feeling envious of the rising success of Mannu. He even starts to think that his love Priya is now smitten by Mannu.
Thus the story continues with Arjun, who becomes an alchoholic and turns grey. Finally Arjun gets to realize the facts and revise their friendship.
The film is clashing with Big B starrer “Aladin”. Let’s see how the film fares on the box office.
