Hollywood actress NICOLE KIDMAN raised the issue of violence against women in an address to the U.S. Congress.

The beautiful Australian actress and Goodwill Ambassador of U.N. Development Fund for Women Nicole joined a high-powered delegation at a congressional hearing in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday (21Oct09).

The event was organized by U.S. House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Organizations, Human Rights and Oversight to discuss this burning topic so that the violence against women reduces worldwide.
