Santoshi’s Dream Was to Cast Aamir and Shahrukh in ‘London Dreams’
Who had thought that one day the two big Khans of film industry will share the screen? But in Rajkumar Hirani’s movie ‘3 Idots’ we are now going to watch Mr. Perfectionist and King Khan together.
Many director and producer earlier tried to bring Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan together but they failed. One of them was ace director Raj Kumar Santoshi who wanted to cast them in his movie ‘London Dreams’.
A source says that, “In principle both actors loved the script, said they wanted to go home and sleep over it before they started principal photography. But for months on end, Raj Santoshi chased both actors independently and neither of them reverted.”
Sources also said that Santoshi was very near to bring them together as he narrated the script to them in joint sitting for three nights.
After getting no response Santoshi choose Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan for lead roles in ‘London Dreams’.
Though Raj Kumar Santoshi failed to cast Aamir and Shahrukh together but fans are excited to see their favorite actor together first time in ‘3Idots’.
A lot of people might not be aware of the fact that Aamir and Shahrukh have worked together in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s 1993 movie Pahla Nasha.
