Unusual Pairing in Dharma Productions
Karan johar’s Dharma Productions is walking on the the same path likeYash Raj banner. As we all know that yash raj has invented directors like, Kabir Khan, Kunal Kohli, Sidhart Raj Anand and very recently Anurag Singh in “DIL BOLE HADIPPA”. In Bollywood film industry friendship are hard to find. But it must be said that Karan is also walking in the path of his friend Aditya Chopra.
Last year “DOSTANA” was a huge hit from the banner of Dharma Productions, which was a directorial debute of Tarun Mansukhani. Again Karan is quite hopeful about his forthcoming projects coming from Dharma Productions. Right now the banner is concentrating on three projects with one pre production project. Debutant young director Ayaan Mukherjee is almost ready with his film “WAKE UP SID”. Rensil de Silva’s directorial named “QURBANI” is on the floor with Saif and Kareena. Lastly Karan’s own venture “MY NAME IS KHAN” will release in February next year.
WAKE UP SID” is a new generation film, which speaks about the life of today’s youth. The movie has Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma playing the lead roles. It has already created hype and audience is eager to see this unusual pairing on screen. Ranbir is a handsome hunk in bollywood where Konkona is an actor with talent and not glamour. It will be quite surprising for the movie lover’s to see such an off bit pairing probably for the first time on silver screen. But at the end of the day cast is less important than the content and the story.
