Victoria Beckham Felt Nervous While Judging American Idol Season 9
Singer turned fashion designer VICTORIA BECKHAM has started her new job of guest judge on American Idol season 9. Former Spice girl sat on judge’s chair in “American Idol” season 9 auditions in Boston, Massachusetts and Denver, Colorado.
Lady V joined the show after the exit of Paula Abdul, who quit the show last summer (09). The American Idol season 9 started on Tuesday, 12 Jan where Victoria joined the judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.
The former singer who was a fan of the show and now judging it, admitted that evaluating the potential of the budding singer is a tough job. She said, “I was really, really nervous… I didn’t want to trample on anybody’s dreams. I’m very much a positive person and I believe in positive energy.”
She also said, “I can find something nice to say about most people. Even if they’re completely useless they may have a nice pair of shoes on.”
Talking about her fellow judge Simon Cowell Posh said, “I think sometimes (Idol judge) Simon (Cowell) thought I was too nice… They’re gonna find out they’re pretty c**p soon enough. They don’t need me adding to that.”
